Join us from 7:00 pm on Thursday 29th March for our next Virtual Technology Club meeting. The Virtual Technology Club was established in April of last year in recognition of the fact that for many people with sight loss who rely on technology to live an independent life, it can be difficult to travel to access training or support, or to meet other users and share knowledge.
Our guest this month is Irene Hampton, from Canada, who will be telling us all about the Roomba Robot Vacuum Cleaner.
We’ll also hear from our colleagues in our Advocacy and Communications teams, who will tell us about the new tactile voting template, and how you’ll be using it in Ireland later this year.
Â
New participants are always welcome, so if you haven’t been involved before, please do join the conversation!
Our Virtual Technology Club is using a meeting platform called Zoom to allow us all to connect and speak together. Zoom has a software client for Windows, Mac, iOS and Android, and what’s really great is that you don’t even have to install the software to join the meetings.
Our Virtual Technology Club User Guide will walk you step-by-step through connecting to our virtual meeting room on your computer, phone or tablet using Zoom.
